Cbank: Russia’s GDP to grow 0.4–0.7% on year in Jan–Mar
MOSCOW, Mar 3 (PRIME) -- Russia’s gross domestic product (GDP) is expected to grow 0.4–0.7% on the year in January–March, while seasonally adjusted GDP growth is seen at 0.1–0.4%, the central bank said in a report Friday.
“In January 2017, recovery of economic activity continued. The industrial output increased, and investment activity was growing. The improvement of the economic situation and reduction of inflation contributed to growth of real wages. The revival of combined demand will support further growth of GDP, which is expected at 0.4–0.7% in the first quarter, under our estimates,” the regulator said.
